A few of my medieval figures:

This is the famous knight Tannhäuser from the Mannesse codex. He is a confrere knight of the teutonic order. Thats why he is carrying his own heraldry instead of the black on white cross of the order. Confrere knights only enroled with the order for a certain amount of time not for the rest of there life like the brother knights of the order

These are sergeants of the teutonic order. They are wearing the grey surcoat with the tau cross on it. The Tau cross was never used on a shield or a pennon.

Saxon figures used as medieval Pruss tribal infantry

Medieval pruss  Infantry . the bow was often used by the Pruss because it suited them for there hit and run tactic

prussian chief

a banner bearer

another Pruss

The figures were painted with the layering technic described in Kev. Dallimores book. They were later dipped in a magig dip using future polish. I don´t do the dipping anymore as the effects are darkening the figures to much!
