How to paint a 40mm knight I will explain here how I painted the 40mm knight you can see on the 40mm page.

First of all after cleaning flash and asembly of the miniature I undercoatet the complete figure with black gesso . Gesso is normaly used to prepair canvas for paintings. It is avalable in good art shops. |

then the metal parts were drybrushed in3 different shades ( oily steel, steel an silver all coloures used were from the Valejo range) |

Here the first shade of blue (dark prussian blue was aplied. The shild was handpainted on paper and fixed to the miniature. |

The next shades of blue are added. |
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
Now the cape followed in different shades of white! |
